Squirrel poaching includes anypoaching of anysquirrel.

Flying squirrels are native toFlorida and popular as pets.[1] There is an illegal wildlife trade in flying squirrels.[1] In October 2020 theFlorida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission disrupted a major flying squirrel poaching and smuggling operation.[2][3]

TheCaucasian squirrel is a victim of poaching inGreece.[4]

Poaching disturbs the squirrel behavior of distributing seeds in tropical forests in Panama.[5]

Poaching is among the disturbances faced by theGrizzled giant squirrel in theGrizzled Squirrel Wildlife Sanctuary inSouth India.[6][7]

TheIndian giant squirrel faces poaching in theDalma Wildlife Sanctuary inJharkhand, India.[8]
