Spider-Man: Homecoming (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is thefilm score to theColumbia Pictures /Marvel Studios filmSpider-Man: Homecoming composed byMichael Giacchino. The soundtrack album was released bySony Masterworks on July 7, 2017.
While promotingDoctor Strange in early November 2016, Marvel Studios presidentKevin Feige accidentally revealed thatMichael Giacchino, who composedthe music for that film, would be composing the score forHomecoming as well. Giacchino soon confirmed this himself.[1] Recording for the soundtrack began on April 11, 2017.[2] The score includes thetheme fromthe 1960s cartoon series, which is played during theMarvel Studios logo.[3] The soundtrack was released bySony Masterworks on July 7, 2017.[4]
