The original was a word for word translation from the French version that could be confusing for anglophones. I made the change after tripping up on the expression myself.

23:4623:46, 24 March 2024diffhist−245Elections in AustriaI edited the paragraph about Austria having been a two-party system, as some of the statements there were marginally erroneous. I tried to be more specific about the entrance of the FPO in government for the first time in 1983, and the entrance of the Greens for the first time in 2019. Also, to be clear, the FPO and its precursor had been electing candidates since 1949 and in principle, OVP could have brought them in instead of SPO to form a majority. They chose not to.

16:2316:23, 27 June 2023diffhist0m1949 Canadian federal electionIn the table, the total number of candidates was shown as 851. Adding up the numbers, the correct total is 848, so I changed that. Interestingly though, Parliinfo is missing 2 small parties with one candidate each: Farmer-Labour and National Unity. As a result, Parlinfo reports only 846 candidates and a total number of vote of only 5,837,400. I am assuming that this is an error in Parlinfo and that Wikipedia has it right. Unless those two candidates were later disqualified?

I have added a new section on that subject at the end to help fill this gap. This matches the "Analysis" section often included in wikis on referendums.

19:4419:44, 17 June 2023diffhist−1,0132026 Senedd election→Number of members and gender zipping: As this article is about elections to the Senedd, I removed a paragraph which was totally out of place here, discussing the number of MPs to the UK Parliament. This paragraph was confusing inserted like this and seems to have been included in error.
20:0020:00, 7 June 2023diffhist+6182018 British Columbia electoral reform referendum→Rural–urban proportional (RUP): This section needed considerable work, because of the unfortunate and confusing way it conflated Fair Vote Canada's RUP and the very different model by the same name that was included in the referendum. While retaining the material included in the original, I have considerably edited and reorganized this material to clear up this confusion.
15:2915:29, 5 February 2023diffhist+2422007 Ontario electoral reform referendum→Analysis: The analysis section needs to be better structured, so I am working on that. I've started by ordering the three sets of explanations as 1. design issues, 2. lack of public education and the need for political leadership and 3. hostility of the part of the political elite. This way of organizing things goes from the superficial to the fundamental as explanations go, so it's a good starting point.
21:5021:50, 24 November 2022diffhist02018 Sierra Leonean general electionUnder electoral system, the text referred to "12" seats for paramount chiefs. This does not match the number of paramount chiefs actually elected = 14. I have changed the number to "14" for the sake of consistency. Maybe someone can check this and correct it if I have made a mistake.
