TheSouthern Shore Region is located in theSouth Jersey region ofNew Jersey. The area includesCape May County andCumberland County. The coast is along theAtlantic Ocean andDelaware Bay, while the inland areas are part of theNew Jersey Pine Barrens. It is one of seventourism regions established by the New Jersey State Department of Tourism; the others are theGateway Region,Greater Atlantic City, theDelaware River Region, theShore Region,Central Jersey Region, and theSkylands Region.^[1]
