TheSouthern Mindoro (South Mangyan) languages are one of two small clusters ofAustronesian languages spoken by theMangyan people ofMindoro Island in the Philippines.[1] They make up a branch of theGreater Central Philippine subgroup.[2]

These are among the few languages of the Philippines which continue to be written inindigenous scripts, though mostly for poetry.
