TheKaniet languages were two of fourWestern Admiralty Islands languages, a subgroup of theAdmiralty Islands languages, the other two beingWuvulu-Aua andSeimat. The languages were spoken on theKaniet Islands (Anchorite Islands) in westernManus Province ofPapua New Guinea until the 1950s.[1]

Two languages were spoken on the islands, one reported by Thilenius and one by Dempwolff.[2]
