South Medwin, sometimes spelledMedwyn, is ariver in theLanarkshire region ofScotland. Along with the confluence of theNorth Medwin River it forms the Medwin water basin. The South Medwin flows westward to join theRiver Clyde a mile (1.5 km) south ofCarnwath at a point called "The Meeting".[1][2]
