Sosyan (Arabic:سوسيان) orSusiyan is a village in northernAleppo Governorate, northwesternSyria. Located in the Aqil mountains, some 25 kilometres (16 mi) northeast of the city ofAleppo and 9 km (5.6 mi) northwest ofal-Bab, it is administratively part ofNahiya al-Bab ofal-Bab District. Nearby localities includeHezwan 4 km (2.5 mi) to the southwest and Qubbet Elsheikh 7 km (4.3 mi) to the northeast. In the 2004 census, Sosyan had a population of 1,452.[1]
