Solmsia is agenus offlowering plants belonging to the familyThymelaeaceae. It includes a single species,Solmsia calophylla, a shrub or tree endemic toNew Caledonia.[1][4] The genus was named to honorHermann zu Solms-Laubach byHenri Ernest Baillon. It is related toArnhemia,Deltaria,Gonystylus andLethedon.[5]
