Sok (Russian:Сок) is a river inSamara andOrenburg Oblasts,Russia, a left tributary of theVolga. It is 364 kilometres (226 mi) long, and itsdrainage basin covers 11,700 square kilometres (4,500 mi2).[1] It flows southwest to meet theSamara Bend of the Volga nearSokolyi Mountains, north of the city ofSamara. The major tributary isKondurcha.[citation needed]
