So Glad I Know is the firstgospel album by AmericanR&B singerDeniece Williams, released in 1986 onSparrow Records.[2] The album reached No. 6 on theBillboardTop Christian Albums chart and No. 7 on theBillboardTop Gospel Albums chart.[3] So Glad I Know was alsoGrammy nominated in the category ofBest Gospel Performance, Female.[4]
So Glad I Know was Williams' first full-length gospel album. With this came a new recording of "They Say", originally from her 1983 albumI'm So Proud, now a duet with fellow Gospel singerSandi Patti. At the29th Annual Grammy Awards the said duo won aGrammy forBest Gospel Performance by a Duo or Group. Williams also won a Grammy in the category ofBest Soul Gospel Performance, Female for her rendition of thehymn "I Surrender All".[5][4]
