Slavko Vinčić (born 25 November 1979) is a Slovenianfootballreferee.[1] He has been an international-listed referee forFIFA since 2010.[2] Vinčić went toUEFA Euro 2012 as additional assistant in the team ofDamir Skomina. Additionally, Vinčić refereed the2024 UEFA Champions League final atWembley Stadium.

As of July 2021, Vinčić has been in charge of 12Champions League and 19Europa League matches, including2020–21 Champions League quarterfinal betweenPorto andChelsea and2020–21 Europa League semifinal betweenArsenal andVillarreal.He was also the referee for the2022 UEFA Europa League final betweenEintracht Frankfurt andRangers.

Vinčić was selected as a match official forEuro 2020, where he refereed two group stage matches (Spain-Sweden and Switzerland-Turkey) and the QF clash between Italy and Belgium. On 30 May 2020, Vinčić was arrested by mistake as part of a police probe into a prostitution and drugs ring inBosnia and Herzegovina;[3] he was soon cleared of any wrongdoing.[4]

On 13 May 2024, Vinčić was selected by UEFA to referee2024 UEFA Champions League final betweenBorussia Dortmund andReal Madrid.[5] On 24 February 2025, he refereed theTurkish Super League fixture atRams Park betweenFenerbahçe and Galatasaray. On April 2025, Vinčić was selected to officiate at2025 FIFA Club World Cup inUnited States[6] In a goalless draw betweenRiver Plate and Monterrey, Vinčić issued nine yellow cards and a red card forKevin Castaño, who was already on a yellow card.[7]
