Sky Showcase is a Britishpay television channel which launched on 1 September 2021. It is owned and operated bySky Group, a division of American media companyComcast.[1]
Sky Showcase was announced on 28 July 2021, along withSky Max, as a replacement for flagship brandSky One; with its programming transferred to Max andSky Comedy. Both Showcase and Max would launch on the same day.[2][3][4][5][6] The channel broadcasts a selection of programmes and simulcasts from acrossSky UK's portfolio of channels, including highlights fromSky Cinema,Sky News, andSky Sports. Starting in January 2024, Sky Showcase began showing select programming fromSky Atlantic.[7]
