Six is the sixth studio album by thejazz rock bandSoft Machine. Originally released in 1973 as adoubleLP, the first disc is a live album and the second disc is a studio album. This is the first album to featureKarl Jenkins as a member the group, replacingElton Dean. Jenkins eventually became thede facto leader and main composer of the group.
