
Sinbad Rock (62°09′11″S59°02′21″W / 62.15319°S 59.03922°W /-62.15319; -59.03922) is a low rock (approximately 10 feet high[1]) lying 1.25 nautical miles (2.3 km) west-northwest ofSquare End Island, off the west end ofKing George Island, in theSouth Shetland Islands. The rock was charted in 1935 byDI personnel on theDiscovery II but the name appears to be first used on a 1948 Admiralty chart based upon this survey.
