Thesimple greenbul (Chlorocichla simplex) orsimple leaflove, is a species ofsongbird in thebulbulfamily ofpasserinebirds. It is widespread throughout theAfrican tropical rainforest.[2] Its naturalhabitats are subtropical or tropical dryforests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, and subtropical or tropical moistshrubland.
The simple greenbul was originally described in the genusTrichophorus (a synonym forCriniger) and then classified withinPyrrhurus before being moved to the genusChlorocichla.[3]
