Silajit Majumder (Bengali:শিলাজিৎ মজুমদার, born 9 October 1965),[1] first name also spelledShilajit, is an IndianBengali singer-songwriter and actor fromKolkata.[2][3][4] He is mostly credited by his first name.[5] As an actor he is best known for his roles in films likeAsukh (1999) byRituparno Ghosh andKrantikaal (2005) bySekhar Das. He took a remarkable place in Bigg Boss Bangla season 2.

Education

Majumder received his education at the Saint Paul K G school, theScottish Church Collegiate School, and before graduating from theVidyasagar College of theUniversity of Calcutta in English literature.
