Shwe yin aye (Burmese:ရွှေရင်အေး;pronounced[ʃwèjɪ̀ɴʔé]) is a traditional Burmesedessert commonly associated with theThingyan season.[1]

The dessert consists of sweetenedsticky rice,sago pearls,pandan jelly noodles (cendol), and cubes ofgelatine, coconut jelly, and a slice ofwhite bread steeped in a concoction of sweetenedcoconut milk, served cold.[2]
