The Shuwaihiyin (Arabic: الشويهيين) singular Shuwaihi (Arabic: الشويهي), are a small nomadic subgroup of theBani Ka'ab tribe, mainly located in theUnited Arab Emirates and theSultanate of Oman.[1]The estimated population of the Shuwaihiyin sub-tribe is around 1,000 people.[2] In the early 1900s, specifically during the first decade, records show that 10 houses belonging to the Shuwaihiyin tribe were present inDubai.[3]
