Shontelle Woodman (born 2 September 1986) is a New Zealandrugby league footballer who played as acentre for theNew Zealand Warriors in theNRL Women's Premiership.
In 2011, while playing forPapakura, Woodman was named theAuckland Rugby League Player of the Year.[1][2]
In 2014, Woodman made her Test debut forNew Zealand, playing alongside her twin sister Sharnita, in a 12–8 win overAustralia.[3][4]
On 3 May 2015, Woodman started on thewing and scored a try for New Zealand in their 14–22 loss to Australia atSuncorp Stadium.[5]
On 2 December 2017, Woodman started atcentre in New Zealand's2017 Women's Rugby League World Cup final loss to Australia. She scored three tries in the tournament.[6]
On 31 July 2018, Woodman was named in theNew Zealand WarriorsNRL Women's Premiership squad.[7] In Round 1 of the2018 NRL Women's season, she made her debut for the Warriors in a 10–4 win over theSydney Roosters.[8]
