Shadow Creek is an eighteen-holegolf course inNorth Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, owned byMGM Resorts International.
The course opened in 1989, was built on a 350-acre (140 ha) site, at a reported cost of 60 million dollars.[3] Originally operated asSteve Wynn's private club, it later opened to a limited number of MGM hotel guests. Its $500 green fee made it one of the most expensive courses open to the general public.[4]
In 2018, it hostedThe Match: Tiger vs. Phil, a match play challenge betweenTiger Woods andPhil Mickelson.[5] It will again hostThe Match in December 2024 for itsPGA/LIV inter-tour competition between Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Bryson Dechambeau and Brooks Koepka.[6]
It hosted thePGA Tour'sCJ Cup in October 2020, after the tournament was relocated from South Korea in response to theCOVID-19 pandemic.[7]
Since 2021, Shadow Creek has hosted theBank of Hope LPGA Match-Play on theLPGA Tour.
TheTom Fazio designed golf course[8] was built bySteve Wynn in 1990. It was originally 7,239-yard (6,619 m), extended to 7,560-yard (6,910 m) during a 2008 redesign, when a 7-acre (28,000 m2) short game facility was added.
