Serrion Teichos (Ancient Greek:Σέρριον τείχος) orSerreion Teichos (Σέρρειον τεῖχος) was aGreek[1] city inancient Thrace, located in the region of thePropontis. It was a member of theDelian League and appears in tribute lists ofAthens between 428/7 and 418/7 BCE.[1] It later bore the name ofGanus orGanos (Γάνος or Γᾶνος).[2] It is under this name that the town is mentioned by geographers and historians, as a noted mountain fortress of Thrace.[3]
Its site is near the modernGanos,Turkey.[2][4]
