TheSerra do Tiracambu is a mountain range inMaranhão state of north-centralBrazil.[1] The range runs north and south, and forms the divide between the basins of theGurupí River to the west and thePindaré River to the east.
The range lies within theTocantins–Araguaia–Maranhão moist forests ecoregion of theAmazon biome, and is covered bytropical moist broadleaf forest.[2]
