Sera Naiqama (born 26 July 1995) is an Australianrugby union player. She playsLock for theWallaroos at an international level, and for theNSW Waratahs in theSuper W competition. She competed for Australia at the delayed2021 Rugby World Cup.

Personal life

Naiqama is the younger sister ofNRL andFijian rugby league internationalsKevin andWes Naiqama.[1][2]

Rugby career

Naiqama debuted for theNSW Waratahs in theSuper W competition in 2019.[2] Later in November that year, she played for Australia A against theBlack Ferns Development team at theOceania Rugby Women's Championship inFiji.[1]

In 2022, she made hertest debut forAustralia on 6 May againstFiji.[3][4][5][6] She came off the bench in theWallaroos test match againstJapan four days later.[7]

She was named in Australia's squad for the2022 Pacific Four Series inNew Zealand.[8][9] She was named in theWallaroos squad for a two-test series against theBlack Ferns at theLaurie O'Reilly Cup.[10][11] She was selected in the team again for the delayed2021 Rugby World Cup inNew Zealand.[12][13]

Naiqama signed withMatatū for the2023 Super Rugby Aupiki season.[14][15] She made the Wallaroos side for the2023 Pacific Four Series, and theO'Reilly Cup.[16]

In December 2025, she re-signed with the Force for the2026 Super Rugby Women's season.[17]
