In August 2024, Renders signed his first professional contract withRoyal Antwerp F.C.[2] He was given his professional debut as a 16-year-old by Antwerp coachJonas De Roeck, coming on as substitute againstCercle Brugge on 6 October 2024,[3] likewise coming off the bench in Antwerp's next two matches againstOud-Heverlee Leuven andStandard Liege.[4]
Renders made his first appearance at any level for Belgium starting in a 1-0 win for thenational under-18s team overGermany in Oliva Nova on 15 November 2024.[5][6]
He came on a substitute in a 1-0 loss toPoland three days later at the same venue.[7]
