Semiopyla is agenus ofjumping spiders that was first described byEugène Louis Simon in 1901.[2] As of August 2019[update] it contains only three species, found only inParaguay,Argentina, andMexico:S. cataphracta,S. triarmata, andS. viperina.[1]
