TheKong River, also known as theXe Kong or theSe Kong (Lao: ເຊກອງSe Kong, (Khmer:សេកុង(official) orស្រែគង្គ(Khmerization)),Vietnamese:sông Sê Kông) is a river inSoutheast Asia. The river originates inHuế in CentralVietnam and flows 480 kilometres (300 mi) through southernLaos and easternCambodia. It joins theMekong River nearStung Treng town of Cambodia. Part of its course forms theinternational boundary between Laos and Cambodia.
