Thesecretin receptor is aprotein that in humans is encoded by the SCTRgene. This protein is aG protein-coupled receptor which bindssecretin and is the leading member (i.e., first cloned) of thesecretin receptor family, also called class B GPCR subfamily.[5]

Interactions

[edit]

The secretin receptor has been shown tointeract withpituitary adenylate cyclase activating peptide.[6]
