One of theGurage languages, Sebat Bet is divided into several dialects.^[2] The latter are spoken in the westernGurage Region:

• Chaha (Cheha) is spoken inCheha and is the best studied of these varieties
• Mesqan is spoken inMeskan
• Ezha (Eza, Izha) is spoken inEzhana Wolene
• Muher is spoken in the mountains north of Cheha and Ezhana Wolene
• Geta is spoken inGeta
• Gumer (Gwemarra, Gʷəmarə), spoken inGumer
• Inor (Ennemor), spoken inEnemorina Eaner

• Endegegn and the extinctMesmes language are sometimes considered subdialects of Inor.
