Scott Whyte is an American actor, best known for his role as Chris Anderson onCity Guys. He has also appeared in television series such asThat '70s Show andJust Shoot Me! and the filmsD2: The Mighty Ducks and its sequel,D3, as different characters.[1]
Whyte made his film debut in theMel Gibson/Kurt Russell featureTequila Sunrise as a background character, having been cast after going to watch filming, as he lived near the shooting location. He and his brother were also cast as background characters inOver the Top after going to watch filming.[2]
He landed his first part at the age of 13, appearing in a commercial forPop Tarts, and later appeared in the television seriesThat '70s Show,Just Shoot Me!,The Nanny,Full House and NBC'sCity Guys, along with hosting the television seriesChicken Soup for the Soul, based on the best selling books.
His recent films includeReeker,The Fallen Ones,Voodoo Moon,Death Row andAll In. He also voices Mr. Graham in the video gameMighty No. 9[3] and provides voices inInfamous Second Son[4]Batman: Arkham Knight,Mad Max,[5]Transformers: Devastation,Skylanders: SuperChargers andCounter-Strike: Global Offensive.
In 2020, Whyte became the new voice ofCrash Bandicoot inCrash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, replacingJess Harnell.[6] In 2021, he also became the new voice ofCaptain Qwark inRatchet & Clank: Rift Apart, replacingJim Ward.
