Schubert is acrater on Mercury. It was named afterFranz Schubert, a famous Austrian composer, by theIAU in 1976.[1]

Schubert has been filled in by smooth plains material.

Nearby craters includeWergeland to the north,Nampeyo to the northeast, andBramante to the southwest.
