Pangoniinae is a subfamily ofhorse-flies in the orderDiptera, containing at seventribes and over 40 genera.[2][3]

Insects in this subfamily are distinguished from otherTabanidae by possession ofocelli and the antennalflagellum usually has eight rings.[4]
