Sayaka Kurara (玖麗 さやか,Kurara Sayaka; born June 20, 2000) is a Japaneseprofessional wrestler. She is signed toWorld Wonder Ring Stardom, where she is one-half of the currentNew Blood Tag Team Champions in her first reign and a member ofCosmic Angels.
Sayaka Kurara was born inToyohashi,Japan on June 20, 2000.[2]
In March 2023, Kurara joinedWorld Wonder Ring Stardom as a trainee. She made her official in-ring debut atStardom New Blood 12 on December 25, 2023, where she facedSaya Kamitani.[3]
On February 12, 2024, Kurara teamed up withMei Seira in a losing effort againstCosmic Angels (Tam Nakano andYuna Mizumori).[4] After the match ended, Kurara confronted the Cosmic Angels members by expressing her desire to join the unit, which led her to becoming their apprentice.[5] On April 12, Kurara officially joined the Cosmic Angels withAya Sakura.[6] AtAll Star Grand Queendom 2024, Kurara unsuccessfully challengedRina for theFuture of Stardom Championship in her first attempt.[7] On July 27, Kurara was defeated by herCosmic Angelsstablemate,Tam Nakano atStardom Sapporo World Rendezvous night 1.[8] On September 28, Kurara got her first win by pinningSaya Kamitani in a six-person tag match.[9] During the 2024 edition of theGoddesses of Stardom Tag League, Kurara teamed up with Nakano asTokimeki Purin a la Mode and scored only 6 points, being unable to advance.[10] AtYear-End X'Mas Night, Kurara would then fail to capture theFuture of Stardom Championship againstMiyu Amasaki on her second attempt.[11]
OnStardom New Year Dream, Kurara alongsideNatsupoi andSaori Anou defeated Vulgar Alliance (Dump Matsumoto andZap) andNatsuko Tora.[12] At Stardom New Year Stars in Korakuen, Kurara alongsideAya Sakura andYuna Mizumori unsuccessfully challenged theirCosmic Angels seniorsTam Nakano,Natsupoi, andSaori Anou for theArtist of Stardom Championship in aCosmic Angels collison.[13] On March 15, 2025, Kurara won theStardom Cinderella Tournament 2025 after defeatingRina in the finals.[14] AtStardom All Star Grand Queendom 2025, she defeatedThekla in Thekla's final match in the company.[15] In a post-match interview she signalled her intent to challenge for theWorld of Stardom Championship as part of her Cinderella Tournament winner's wish. On May 10, Kurara would then unsuccessfully challenge Kamitani for the belt at Korakuen hall.[16] AtStardom Sapporo World Rendezvous 2025, Kurara unsuccessfully challengedHina for theFuture of Stardom Championship on her third attempt.[17] On November 30, 2025, Kurara won theGoddesses of Stardom Tag League with Sakura after defeatingBMI2000 (Natsuko Tora andRuaka) in the finals, which makes Kurara the fifth women to win both the Cinderella and Tag League in the same year (with the others beingMayu Iwatani,Momo Watanabe,Arisa Hoshiki, andHanan).[18] Afterwards, Kurara and Sakura would lose against Tora and Ruaka for theGoddesses of Stardom Championship atStardom Dream Queendom 2025.[19]
On September 29, 2024, Kurara got her first singles win by defeating Soy atNew Blood 15.[20] On June 21, 2024, Sakurara (Sakura and Kurara) lost againstwing★gori (Hanan andSaya Iida) for theNew Blood Tag Team Championship atNew Blood 13.[21]
On October 30, 2025, Sakurara (Sakura and Kurara) won theNew Blood Tag Team Championships by defeatingRice or Bread (Waka Tsukiyama andHanako) atNew Blood 26.[22]
On February 2, 2026, Sakurara (Sakura and Kurara) defeatedYuna Mizumori andAnne Kanaya to retain their titles atStardom New Blood 28.[23]
