TheSawyer Kill orSawyer's Kill is a 7.0-mile-long (11.3 km)[2]tributary stream of theHudson River inNew York state. The source is at theGreat Vlaie on the border ofUlster andGreene counties. The stream enters the Hudson River at Seamon Park inMalden, New York, just north of the village ofSaugerties.
Saugerties takes its name from the Dutch, "Saugerje's Kill" or "Little Sawyer's creek".[3]
