Savannah Sellers is an American Emmy Award-winning journalist working atNBC News. She is the co-host ofMorning News Now andStay Tuned onNBC News Now and is also a correspondent across all NBC platforms. Her reports are seen onToday,NBC Nightly News, and NBC News Now.[1]

Early life and education

Sellers graduated from theUniversity of Colorado Boulder's School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a degree in Broadcast News and International Media.[2]

Career

Sellers began her career atNBC News in 2010, working as an assignment desk intern, reporting intern, production intern atMSNBC, andNBCUniversal's page program. She then worked as an executive assistant to the president ofMSNBC.[3]

In 2016, Sellers was promoted to an on-air reporter forMSNBC in 2016. In 2017, Sellers became the host of NBC News' twice dailySnapchat show, 'Stay Tuned'. She continues to host to this day.[4]

She also conducted exclusive interviews with several students from Parkland'sMarjory Stoneman Douglas High School two weeks afterits school shooting.[5]

In 2020, NBC News promoted Sellers andJoe Fryer to co-anchors ofMorning News Now on its 24-hour streaming channelNBC News Now.[6][7]

Awards and recognition

She was awarded the 2017 Annual News and Documentary Emmy awards for her work as a producer on theNBC Nightly News series:Hooked: America's Heroin Epidemic.[2] She also received a Gracie Award for online video host.[2]

Personal life

Sellers married Alex Yaraghi (an investment analyst) in 2022.[8]
