Highway 120 is aprovincial highway in theCanadian province ofSaskatchewan. It runs fromHighway 55 atMeath Park toHighway 106 within theNarrow Hills Provincial Park, as well as providing access toCandle Lake andCandle Lake Provincial Park.[2] It is about 90 km (56 mi) long.[1]
Hwy 120 begins in theRural Municipality of Garden River No. 490 on the eastern outskirts ofMeath Park at an intersection withHwy 55 (Northern Woods and Water Route), immediately having an intersection with Railway Avenue (providing access to the village) as it heads north as a paved two-lane highway to enter theRural Municipality of Paddockwood No. 520. After crossing a small creek, it travels northeast through rural farmland for several kilometres, junctioning withHwy 791 (provides access to nearbyPaddockwood) before entering woodlands and having an intersection withHwy 926. Now travelling along the southern limits ofCandle Lake andCandle Lake Provincial Park,[3] Hwy 120 meets the eastern end ofHwy 265 before crossing theTorch River and passing by Minowukaw Beach.[4] It continues winding its northeast through remote woodlands for several kilometres, where it has intersections with bothHwy 913 (where the pavement turns to gravel) and unsignedHwy 928 (Harding Road), as well as passing byWhite Gull Lake and crossingWhite Gull Creek. Now enteringNarrow Hills Provincial Park, Hwy 120 becomes paved once more just 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) before coming to and end at the junction betweenHwy 106 (Hanson Lake Road) andHwy 920.[5]
