Sarah Marie Jeffery (born April 3, 1996) is a Canadian actress and singer. She is known for portraying Maggie Vera, one of the lead characters onThe CW's reboot seriesCharmed (2018-2022), or her previous work as Audrey, daughter ofSleeping Beauty, in theDisney Channel'sDescendants franchise.[1]
Sarah Jeffery was born inVancouver,British Columbia.[2][3] Jeffery has been singing, dancing and acting in musicals and theatrical productions since she was three years old.
Jeffery's first major acting role was in the Cartoon Network television filmAliens in the House.[citation needed] Shortly after, she landed a lead role in theDirecTV original seriesRogue, working oppositeThandiwe Newton, playing the role of her daughter, Evie Travis.[4] She subsequently joined the cast ofFox'ssci-fi drama seriesWayward Pines playing the recurring role of Amy,[5][6] oppositeMatt Dillon andCarla Gugino.
In 2015, Jeffery played the role of Princess Audrey, daughter ofPrincess Aurora, in the Disney Channel Original Movie,Descendants.[7] She followed this up by playing the role of Audrey in the animated spinoff to the filmDescendants: Wicked World.[8] In 2019, she reprised her role as Audrey in the third installment of the franchise,Descendants 3.[9][10][11]
In January 2016, she began a lead role inAdi Hasak's Americanpolice procedural crime seriesShades of Blue, playing Cristina Santos, the daughter ofJennifer Lopez's character;[12][13] the series was renewed for a second season.[14] The same year Jeffery starred in the comedy filmBe Somebody with Matthew Espinosa.[15]
In February 2018, Jeffery was cast in the lead role of Maggie Vera inThe CW's fantasy drama seriesCharmed, a reboot of the1998 series of the same name.[16] The reboot "centers on three sisters in a college town who discover they are witches."
