Sara Hussain (Urdu:ساره لورين), better known asSara Loren (born 11 December 1985), is a Pakistani actress and model mostly, known for working inHindi as well asUrdu movies and television. She is best known for playing a role as Barkhaa in 2015.^[3]

Loren was born and raised on 11 December 1985 inKuwait City, in aPakistani family.^[4] Her grandfather migrated to Kuwait fromRajasthan following thePartition of India, and her father and mother are born in Pakistan.^[5] During an interview in India she said she belongs to amulti-cultural background as her father is aRajput from Rajasthan, and also said that she goes to the temple.^[6] As a teenager, she relocated with her family to Lahore following the death of her father.^[7][8]

Loren made her bollywood debut in the 2010Pooja Bhatt's romantic thriller filmKajraare oppositeHimesh Reshammiya and later played seductress Nisha in the 2013 filmMurder 3. The following year she starred in Yasir Nawaz'sAnjuman for which she won the Tarang Housefull Awards—Best Actress in a Leading Role.^[9] Loren made her acting debut in 2003 with the serialRabia Zinda Rahegi. She has also appeared inMahnoor, Meharun Nisa,Makan,Mehar Bano aur Shah Bano,Sandal,Riyasat, Help of a Ghost,Dupatta, Umrao jan-e-adaa,Madhosh and was nominated for Best Drama Actress for her performance inMain Mar Gai Shaukat Ali at2nd Pakistan Media Awards.^[10]

Loren acted in the stage performances ofAnarkali,Shahyad Issi Ka Naam Mohabbat Hai Sheiftaa, inKarachi andDelhi.^[11] Loren made her screen debut with the 2010Pooja Bhatt'sBollywood filmKajraare.^[1] The following year, she had a cameo appearance in song "Love Mein Ghum" inReema Khan'sLove Mein Ghum.^[12] She then played the role of seductress Nisha in the 2013 filmMurder 3.^[13] The following year, she made herLollywood debut in Yasir Nawaz'sAnjuman.^[2] In 2014, she did anitem number "Saiyaan" inSyed Faisal Bukhari'sSaltanat. She then appeared in Shadaab Mirza'sBarkhaa, where she played a small town girl turned into bar dancer. The film ran for 50 days but was commercially declared a disaster.^{[14][15][16][17]}
