Sanglechi is aPamiri language spoken in villages in theZebak District ofAfghanistan: Dashte Rubat,Eskatul, Faruq, Flaxmadek, Sar-Sanglech, and Takya.[1] It is also spoken inTajikistan, where it is calledSanglich.[citation needed] The name comes from the Sanglech valley in which many of the people live. The language is closely related to theMunji andPashto languages of Afghanistan.
