Sand-e Mir Suiyan Rural District (Persian:دهستان سند میرثوبان)[3] is in theCentral District ofDashtiari County,Sistan and Baluchestan province,Iran.[4] Its capital is the village ofSand-e Mir Suiyan.[5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of the formerDashtiari District ofChabahar County) was 12,151 in 2,387 households.[6] There were 17,654 inhabitants in 3,453 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 18,401 in 3,913 households. The most populous of its 36 villages wasBeris (now a city),[8] with 4,488 people.[2]

In 2018, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Dashtiari County, and the rural district was transferred to the new Central District.[4]
