Rural District in Sistan and Baluchestan, Iran
Sand-e Mir Suiyan Rural District (Persian :دهستان سند میرثوبان )[ 3] is in theCentral District ofDashtiari County ,Sistan and Baluchestan province,Iran .[ 4] Its capital is the village ofSand-e Mir Suiyan .[ 5]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of the formerDashtiari District ofChabahar County ) was 12,151 in 2,387 households.[ 6] There were 17,654 inhabitants in 3,453 households at the following census of 2011.[ 7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 18,401 in 3,913 households. The most populous of its 36 villages wasBeris (now a city),[ 8] with 4,488 people.[ 2]
In 2018, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Dashtiari County, and the rural district was transferred to the new Central District.[ 4]
