San Terenzo is a seaside village (frazione) in thecomune ofLerici in theprovince of La Spezia.[1] It sits on theGulf of La Spezia, just two kilometres north-west ofLerici, and about five kilometres south-east from thecity of La Spezia, the provincial capital. Originally a fishing village dating back tomedieval times, San Terenzo contains a castle built in theLate Middle Ages which was turned into abarracks between the 19th and 20th century, but has recently been restored and is now used for exhibitions.[2] San Terenzo'sparish church dates back to the 17th century.[1]
