San Joaquin Mountain is a mountain along theSierra Crest, nearJune Lake, California. It is thetwenty-sixth highest peak in California, and is the highest peak along the Sierra Crest for 25 miles (40 km).[3] The mountain is formed ofquartz latite that erupted during thePliocene.[4]
The mountain can be climbed as a dayhike fromMinaret Summit.[3]
