Samuel b. Abbahu (Hebrew:רב שמואל בריה דרב אבהו,Rav Shmuel Beria DeRav Abbahu, orרב שמואל בר רבא, read asRav Shmuel Bar Rabbah) was aBabylonian rabbi, of the eighth and last generation ofamoraim, and the first generation ofsavoraim.

His colleague and "Bar-Plugata" opponent was R.Ahai, and they are recorded on theBabylonian Talmud on twohalachic matters.[1] He was the son ofRav Abbahu (not to be confused with RabbiAbbahu), who was a sage ofPumbedita at the end of the amoraic era.
