Samsung Z2 is asmartphone produced bySamsung. It is the third smartphone to be shipped with theTizen operating system, after theSamsung Z1 andSamsung Z3.[1] The Z2 was the first 4G smartphone powered by Tizen[2] and was released on August 29, 2016.[3]
InIndia, the Samsung Z2 was available with aReliance Jio 4G preview offer, which provided unlimited calls, messages, and data for the first three months.[4]
Its successor, theSamsung Z4, was released in May 2017.
The Samsung Z2 is powered by aSpreadtrum SC9830SoC including a quad-core 1.5 GHzARM Cortex-A7CPU and 1 GBRAM.[5] The 8 GB internal storage can be upgraded up to 128 GB viamicroSD card.[6]
It features a 4.0-inchTFT display. The rear camera has 5megapixels withLED flash and f/2.2 aperture; the front camera has 0.3 megapixels with f/2.4 aperture.[5]
