TheSamsung Galaxy Tab A8 is a budgetAndroidtablet computer and part of theSamsung Galaxy Tab series designed bySamsung Electronics.
The Galaxy Tab A8 was announced on December 15, 2021 (2021-12-15) and was released on January 17, 2022 (2022-01-17). It is the successor to theSamsung Galaxy Tab A7 and A7 Lite.[1][2]
The Galaxy Tab A8 shipped withAndroid 11[3] and upgradable toAndroid 14 (One UI 6.1) and has access to apps fromGoogle Play Store and Google apps as well as theGalaxy Store and Samsung apps.[3]
The Galaxy Tab A8 is available inWiFi-only andLTE editions. Storage ranges from 32 GB to 64 GB and up to 128 GB. The 32 GB models have 3 GB of RAM while the other models have 4 GB.[1] AmicroSD slot is included which supports sizes up to 1 TB.[4] It comes in three colors - graphite, silver, and pink-gold. The screen is 10.5 inches with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 and has a ratio of 16:10.[3] The tablet has a 5 MP front camera and an 8 MP rear camera, a headphone jack, Bluetooth support, USB-C charging, and four speakers.[5]
Also the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 uses a 2D face unlock system.
The Tab A8 does not support a stylus,NFC, or fingerprints.
