TheSamsung Galaxy J2 Prime (also known asGalaxy J2 Ace orGalaxy Grand Prime Plus)[2][3][4] is anAndroid-basedsmartphone manufactured bySamsung Electronics. It was unveiled and released in November 2016.[1]
This phone was never being sold officially in North America, Western and Central Europe, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Australia.[5]
The J2 Prime is powered by aMediaTek MT6737TSoC including a quad-core 1.4 GHzARM Cortex-A53CPU, an ARMMali-T720MP2GPU and 1.5GBRAM. The 8 GB internal storage can be upgraded up to 256 GB viamicroSD card.[6]
The J2 Prime features a 5-inchPLS TFT with a 540×960 px resolution. It has an 8megapixel main camera with f/2.2 aperture,LED flash andautofocus. The front camera is a 5 MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash.[2][3][4][1]
The Galaxy J2 Prime is shipped withAndroid6.0.1 "Marshmallow" and Samsung'sTouchWiz user interface.
