TheSamsung Galaxy A52 is a mid-rangeAndroid-basedsmartphone manufactured, developed and produced bySamsung Electronics as part of itsGalaxy A series. It was announced on 17 March 2021[3][4] at theSamsung's virtualAwesome Unpacked event alongside theGalaxy A72. An upgraded variant of the 5G version,Galaxy A52s, was first released in August 2021.[5]

The phone serves as a successor of theGalaxy A51. It is similar to its predecessor, but features an upgraded 64 MP main camera, an increased-capacity 4500 mAh battery, andIP67 water and dust resistance.[6]

Specifications

Design

[edit]

Galaxy A52 has a similar design with its predecessor Galaxy A51. It has an Infinity-O display with a cutout for the selfie camera and slim bezels just like the A51. Unlike the A51, the A52 has matte color options rather than glossy gradient finishes.[7]

The display is protected byCorningGorilla Glass 5 while the frame and back panel is made of plastic. Both the LTE and 5G (including the 5G "s") variants share the identical design and have IP67 water and dust resistance.
