The Samsung Galaxy A35 5G is a mid-range Android-based smartphone developed and manufactured by Samsung Electronics as a part of its Galaxy A series. It was announced on March 11, 2024.[1][2][3][4][5]
The front is made ofCorningGorilla Glass Victus+. The back is made of unspecified glass and the frame is made of plastic. The Galaxy A35 5G also featuresIP67 dust and water resistance andNFC features.
The design of the Galaxy A35 5G is similar to the entire Galaxy Ax5 lineup, featuring a flat frame and the Key Island.
Unlike its predecessors the A35 has a hole punch display like A55 instead of a teardrop notch making it the first in the lineup to have this feature.
The Galaxy A35 5G has adopted 128 GB / 256 GB of UFS 2.1 storage.[6]
On the bottom of the smartphone, there is aUSB-C 2.0 port, twomicrophones and aloudspeaker. On the top, there is an additional microphone and, depending on the model, either a hybriddual SIM tray (SIM 1 + SIM 2 or SIM 1 +microSD) or a single SIM tray. On the right side, there is the volume rocker and the power button.

The Samsung Galaxy A35 5G features a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED 120Hz display, a triple rear camera system (50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro), and a 13MP front camera. It is powered by an Octa-Core processor, comes with a 5000mAh battery, and is available with storage options up to 256GB (expandable via microSD) and up to 8GB of RAM. The phone includes features like stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and IP67 water/dust resistance.
The phone was released withAndroid 14 and Samsung's customOne UI 6.1 software overlay. It also features defense-grade security throughSamsung Knox, which includes a hardware-based Knox Vault for protecting sensitive data and Secure Folder for creating an encrypted private space. The platform also provides protection against viruses and ensures data is kept safe from malicious attacks. Samsung has promised 4 Android OS upgrades (till Android 18) and 5 years of security updates (till 2029). One UI 8 was released on Oct 2025.
