TheSamsung Galaxy A32 is a mid-rangeAndroidsmartphone developed and manufactured bySamsung Electronics.^[3][4][5] It serves as the successor to theGalaxy A31. The phone is similar to its predecessor, but features an upgraded 64 MP main camera.^[1] The device also comes with a 5G variant with a stripped-down camera and screen (48 MP main camera andPLS TFT display), but with a fasterSoC.^[1]

The Galaxy A32 5G was the first to be released on 22 January 2021 while the Galaxy A32 was released subsequently on 17 February 2021.^[6]

The Galaxy A32 uses tempered glass to protect the display, plastic frame and plastic back. There are 4 color options for both devices, titled Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Blue and Awesome Violet.^[7]7

The phones shipped withOne UI 3.1 based onAndroid 11. Like its predecessor, the A32 and A32 5G are eligible for two major Android OS upgrades, 2 years of software updates and 4 years of security updates.

In March 2022, Samsung announced that the Galaxy A32 would be eligible for theAndroid 12 upgrade withOne UI 4.1.^[9]

Owing to the A32 and A32 5G being eligible for four years of security updates, it's highly likely that the phones would receive two more years of security updates after receivingAndroid 13.^[10]
