TheSamsung Galaxy A26 5G is a mid-range Android-basedsmartphone designed, developed and marketed bySamsung Electronics as a part of itsGalaxy A series. The phone was announced on March 2, 2025[2] along with theGalaxy A36 5G and theGalaxy A56 5G.[3][4] The phone was released on March 19, 2025.[5]
The front and the back is made ofCorning Gorilla Glass Victus+ and has a plastic frame. The phone has aIP67 water and dust resistance rating, a first for the A2x lineup. It has a Key Island design with a flat frame, same as its predecessor.

The phone features a 6.7 in (170 mm), with an Infinity-U Display, 1080 x 2340 px resolution, 19.5:9 ratio (~385 ppi density), and Super AMOLED with 120Hzrefresh rate. The front of the phone is similar to that of the Galaxy A16 and Galaxy A06. The display was manufactured by DB GlobalChip, marking the company's first foray into OLED panel production, which debuted in this device.[6]
The device have the same 5000mAh battery with 25W Fast Charging support from its predecessor.
The phone uses Samsung'sExynos 1380 in most countries and Exynos 1280 inLatin America.[7] The chipsets were first used on theGalaxy A54 5G and theGalaxy A53 5G, respectively. Storage options include either 128GB or 256GB (both use UFS 2.2) while RAM options include 6 GB or 8 GB, both of which are the same from its predecessor.[8]
Unlike the Galaxy A36 5G and the Galaxy A56 5G, this phone still has the microSD card slot.[9]
Camera
The camera setup was carried over from its predecessor (triple rear setup: 50 MP main camera, 8 MP ultrawide, and 2 MP macro; 13 MP front camera).[4]
The Galaxy A26 5G has a USB-C 2.0 port on the bottom, aUSB-C 2.0 port, 2microphones, and aloudspeaker. On the left side is the SIM tray and SD card slot.[9] On the right side are the volume and power buttons.
Like theGalaxy A56 and theGalaxy A36, the Galaxy A26 is also set to receive 6 OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates (until 2031).[3] It also has AI features dubbed "Awesome Intelligence".[10]

Reports from Korea ...confirm that the Galaxy A26's AMOLED display driver integrated circuit (DDI), ..., was made by a local company that's never done an OLED IC before. The company is called DB GlobalChip and is a subsidiary of South Korea's DB HiTek foundry business. ...the Galaxy A26 was the launch pad for DB GlobalChip to enter the OLED DDI market segment as a manufacturer and supplier.
The global variant includes the Exynos 1380, while the Latin American version features the Exynos 1280.
